Aeonium arboreum, commonly known as Tree Aeonium or Houseleek Tree, is a striking succulent native to the Canary Islands. This perennial plant forms branched stems up to 3 feet tall, topped with rosettes of fleshy, spoon-shaped leaves. The leaves are often green but can become reddish or purplish during cooler temperatures, providing vibrant color. During late winter or spring, it blooms with pyramidal panicles of small, star-shaped yellow flowers, attracting various pollinators. Aeonium arboreum is popular in ornamental horticulture, used in containers, rockeries, and succulent gardens.

How to care for Tree Aeonium
Water
Water Aeonium arboreum thoroughly, allowing the water to drain freely from the bottom of the pot. Allow the soil to dry out completely between waterings. In winter, reduce watering to minimize moisture around its roots, especially if the temperature drops.

This plant thrives in full sun to partial shade. In hotter climates, provide some afternoon shade to prevent sunburn. Indoors, place it near a south-facing window where it can receive ample sunlight.
